R79 Digital approached me to conceptualize and design the main titles for Netflix's original series, Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities. Director Eric Demuesy and I were inspired by the idea of various objects casting obscure and terrifying shadows. I explored this concept by experimenting with several ideas: an empty birdcage casting a shadow of a bird, a chandelier casting a spiderweb shadow, and a tree casting a shadow of a hand reaching upwards.
