Jaipur is the largest city in Rajasthan. Many of the streets are lined with buildings painted in pink. While we spent most our time walking through the small shops and neighborhoods, we also made a few touristy stops including Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Panna Meena Step well and Anokhi Museum.
Outside of all the palaces live artisans and craftsmen known for their jewelry-making, blockprinting, and pottery work. While the city is starting to trend towards becoming more modern, the small villages on the outskirts are still very traditional.
