Delhi and Agra

We began in Delhi where we spent the night at the Leela Palace and visited Akshardham and then made our way to Agra for the Taj Mahal. What really stood out at the Taj Mahal was the number of exhausted travelers waiting in line for a glimpse of the tombs.

Fatehpur Sikri

On the way to Sawai Madhopur, we made a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a town that served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571-1585 and founded by Akbar.
